Keep on

 It's easy to talk that talk but it's difficult to walk that walk.

If everyone could do it everyone would do it.

No one can do what you do.

No one can endure what you've gone through.

No one can begin to imagine your peril.

They can not begin to phantom your plight 

Instead they watch you from a distance and scoff you.

They ridicule you and recruit others to help them mock you.

Pay them no attention.

Pay them no mind or heed.

They are not built like you.

You of a different design.

Your higher caliber.

A different breed 

Let them to continue to say what they say and believe what they feel.

You need not explain yourself to lesser beings.

They are far beneath you.

You are above.

You light years ahead of them on every front.

Don't expand precious time to bring them up to speed.

You are everything they secretly desire and desperately need.

Don't clap back.

Correct them with consistency.

Continue to shine your light and stay on the path of truth.

Let the haters hate.

Continue to walk in love.

Dawn

 

I sat the darkness to shield my eyes the light.

I used the darkness to numb my pain.

I used the darkness to silence the noise.

I used the the darkness to conceal my fears.

I used the darkness to hide my tears.

I used the darkness mask my rage.

I used the darkness to drift into a wide eyed slumber.

However the light kept creeping in.

The light kept penetrating the shadows that I began to rely on.

The light removed the curtain that I cowairng behind.

I didn't to come in for fear that it would make me go blind.

The light disintegrated the darkness completely .

I was looking to the darkness because I did not want see.

I now embrace the light.

I now let it shine over me.

The soil

 

Before anything was we were.

We braved the sea.

We forged the new frontier.

We built great nations.

We taught devine concepts.

We created every sound, every rhythm, every beat.

We created stop lights in the streets.

We invented the procedure to preserve the human heat beat.

You can't keep hiding and dismissing our greatness.

You can despise us.

You can hate us

You can blame us.

You can ridicule us.

You can mock us.

One thing you can never do is ...

stop us.

We are the essence.

We the backbone.

We are the foundation.

We are the glue.

We are the original beings.

Without us there would be no you.

Our existence presents no mystery.

Our accomplishments can not be summed up in a mere 28 days.

Our story is world history. 

We are the light.

We are the truth 

We don't have to prove anything.

We don't have to compete.

We enhance everything.

We make life complete.

Final say

  

You've been humble now it's time to do some humbling.

They had their turn.

They had their say.

No interruptions were made.

You remained perfectly poisoned.

You took everything with a grain of salt.

All that's over now.

Today's a new day.

No more suggestions.

No more interjections.

You have the floor.

Your running the show.

They don't get to decide.

They don't get to have any more opinions.

No more unsolicited advice. 

Its time for you take the controls and land your plane.

Its time to step up and be seen and let your input known.

You may come up against a lot of push back and those that like to naye say.

Just rember this.

When it's all said and done.

You get the final say.

It's nothing

 

I'm not going going to pretend it hurt.

It indeed did. 

I'm not  going to act like I don't revisit that moment from time to time and try to play out different scenarios in my mind.

You already know what you did.

Don't bother asking because you already know.

I accepted your apology along time before ever "actually " formed the words to say.

I was never angry or disappointed in you.

I knew what it was. You showed me time and again.

I just want to know. 

I don't hold grudges.

I let them go.

You wondered why I've become so distant....well now you know.

It's not you.  It's me.

I'm different now.

I've been forever changed.

I know know myself worth.

I now know not go in rooms I'm celebrated in.

I now know the companionships has always been within.

I'm not angry at all.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Now I not to expect more from what simply is.

I use to take things super personal.

Now it is what is
