Lullaby

 

You were an incomplete thought.

A vision of what may have been.

I don't  know why it turned out this way.

I blamed myself.

I even cursed God for a  spell.

I was looking for answers.

I was looking for someone to blame.

I only had one job and was to protect you.

You'll never feel what is like to grow.

I'll never see you take your first step or hear you speak your first words.

All I have is memory of what may have been.

You never even got to draw your first breath.

I will remember your spirit for eternity.

I will forever mourn that lost part of me that never got to be.

Worlds apart.

We live in the same America yet live different lives.

It's supposed to be equality for all.

However, the all part hasn't seemed to kick in yet for a few.

In your America we are all one.

In my America that be further from truth.

In your America the system is just.

I my America the system does not us.

In your America all lives matter.

In my America mine does not.

The writing's has been wall.

You choose to call it art.

This how I can be your next door neighbor but still be wolds apart.

I am abundance.

I am opulent.

I am rich.

Now receive

I am love.

I am intimacy.

I am attractive.

I am passionate.

I am desire.

I now receive.

I am loyal.

I am a friend.

I am kind.

I am a giver.

I am a confidant.

I now receive.

I am focused.

I am disciplined.

I am driven.

I am goal oriented.

I now receive.

I am intelligent.

I am thoughtful.

I am studious.

I am unique.

I am philosophical.

I am ingenious.

I now receive.

I am spiritual.

I am still.

I am calm.

I am centers.

I now receive.

I attract all things good.

I am one with the myself.

I am in tune with God.

I one with the Universe.

I now receive

If I see it my mind I can hold it my hand.

Just no.

You gave until it hurt.

It hurt so much it nearly destroyed you.

It's ok to be their and help out anytime you can but it's not ok to be treated less than.

Now its to  embrace and exercise the power of no.

Say no unapologetically.

No I won't keep being the clutch.

No I won't go somewhere I feel that I'm wanted.

No I can't help you move.

No I can't watch.

No I can run you.

No I can't sign for.

No  I can't loan you.

No I don't have time.

No you can't vent.

No can't help you with that menial task.

Don't even ask.

No.

No .

No.

Hatian rapture

Feel the searing heat.

Smell pung

ent aroma of aromatic spices blended to perfection.

Listen to the mellow snounds echoing throughout the town.

The steel drums are sernading the island.

All you can see from miles around  the isle is sunkissed smiles.

Soft sand sea salt marry into the majestic sunset.

Can see it?

Are there yet?

It's alright.

Its' okay.

It may not be going well.

It may not be going your way.

It's still going though.

Your still here.

You still have a chance to change it.

You still have an opportunity to persevere.

It may not have turned out the way you wanted it to but you still can make it through.

How you handle it from here on out is entirely up to you.

True blue?

 What is so frightening about a child?

What type of harm can  they really do?

Were you afraid of the child because you thought they could harm you or were afraid because the child didn't look like you?

How long did it take for you to choose your career path?

How long did you spend training to be an officer of the blue.

Why did you get in that profesession?

What did you hope to accomplish in that uniform?

What did the academy teach you?

If your "that" afraid of being around  people that do not look like you then you might want to choose a different career path because being a police officer just isn't for you.

He's laying right on the canvas. 

He's lying in wait to attack with the numbers and persuade you with logic.  

He wants to blind you with the practical and charm with the should.

Don't loose the plot in details.

Trust the process and take the wind out of his sails.

Lead off with love

Karma is like a boomerang. 

What ever message you put out comes right back to you.

You should always put out the best version of you.

Think about how you would want someone to speak to you and treat you.

Don't be so quick to anger nor hastily correct.

Listen for the unspoken truth and wait patiently for the unseen intent in a situation.

You'll receive a better experience and have more time well spent. 

Leave footprints of love and not bitterness's foul stench.

Let your presence resonate. Let them feel you before they actually see you.

You don't have to be perfect just be the best you.

Same old girl.

She's always been like this.

She didn't just change over night.

She's always been quick to judge.

She's always been quick to fight.

She's always been a liar.

She's always been deceitful.

She has always  favored certain people.

She has always been foul.

She was always  crude.

She was always loud.

She was always rude.

She's never been great dispute all unpopular belief.

America. America oh America.

God bless the child that has his own.

It's a new day.

The ball has dropped.

The band band stopped playing.

The ball is over.

She has a new daddy but she's same old girl.

Lets all role up our sleeves and try our best to clean her up because she's filthy and she has never loved us.
